What a great week in the gym for the Coach John Todd Elite Basketball Academy "CJTEBA" from the Bahamas. The Orlando Lightning players, Raheem Lemons and Nnaji McDaniel, plus Owner/Head Coach Barry Mestel and General Manager/Associate Head Coach Brittany Campbell hit the hardwood with the boys to put on a clinic.
The 13U boys AAU team traveled from the Bahamas to attend the fundamentals clinic put on by the Orlando Lightning and play in some tournaments on their visit to Orlando. Raheem and Nnaji took the floor with the boys teaching them how to dribble, pass, play defense and set good screens while Coach Barry Mestel helped them with shooting mechanics and range and Coach Brittany Campbell taught them strong post moves and how to rebound like monsters. The team will get to scrimmage during halftime of the Orlando Lightning's last game of the season to show off their skills that they acquired during their week long clinic before they head off to their first tournament.
The Orlando Lightning want to wish the CJTEBA the best of luck in their tournaments and a big thanks for allowing us to help the boys on and off the court!
