FORT LAUDERDALE SHARKS CAPTURE THEIR FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON

The Fort Lauderdale Sharks capture their first win of the young ABL season by knocking off the Palm Beach Hurricane, 95-91, Saturday night in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The Sharks overcame a 14 point 2nd quarter deficit to end the 1st half down 46-45.  The Sharks came out early in the 2nd half to take the momentum behind the sharpshooting of former FIU standout Martavis Kee.  Local product from Pine Crest High School and Monmouth University, Ed Waite led all scorers with 25 points and 9 rebounds to help the Sharks end their 3 game losing streak.   Derek Tartt chipped in with 13 points and 4 steals to help seal the victory.

Palm beach Hurricane was once again led by the long range shooting of TT Hall who scored 24 points and teammate Daniel Bryant from Arkansas State University chipped in with 17 points and 6 assists in a losing effort.
