Updated Saturday June 7, 2014 by Basketball Daily.

The American Basketball League has announced that the Hurricane Grill & Wings is to be their new corporate title sponsor.

Hurricane Grill and Wings first opened its doors in Apri of 1995 at their original location in Ft. Pierce, Florida.  Since that time, the fast growing franchise has expanded to 59 locations, including Arizona, Indiana, Florida, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Minnesota, Maryland, Alabama, Texas and Pennsylvania, with additional restaurants planned nationwide.  Included in US markets are numerous ABL franchise cities, making the corporate partnership not only historic, but a logical choice.

The synergy between the American Basketball League and the Hurricane Grill and Wings is a natural fit and is a hallmark agreement between a minor league sport organization and a domestically prominent restaurant chain. The agreement between the Hurricane Grill and Wings and the ABL marks one of only a handful of national corporate title sponsorships in minor  league basketball history.   With its broad demographic reach, the partnership between the ABL and the Hurricane Grill & Wings fosters the opportunity to  future regional United States ABL expansion.

With ABL markets in Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Vero Beach and Orlando, cross marketing and exciting promotional events are to be announced between the two growing and successful organizations.

The American Basketball League season is to commence June 5th, 2014 with opening night featuring the 2013 ABL champion Palm Beach Hurricane hosting the Fort Lauderdale Sharks.  For more information about the Hurricane Grill and Wings, please access their website at www.hurricanewings.com
